Job Description

Firebird AST is seeking an onsite Mid to Senior-level All-Source Intelligence Analyst with an active Top Secret clearance and with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, D.C. The analyst will be responsible for conducting all-source analysis on intelligence priorities. The contract is pending; anticipated award is July 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.
• Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
• Provide necessary foreign language capabilities necessary to support assessments.

REQUIRED

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Experience using intelligence tools and databases (Ex: PALANTIR, Analyst Notebook, TAC, etc).
• Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Experience with analyzing defense intelligence topics, including military capabilities, political-military issues, order of battle, infrastructure, cyber, human terrain, CWMD, or threat finance.
• Experience with strategic all-source intelligence analysis of foreign military, security, and related political issues, including using analytic tools to research data from multiple intelligence sources and analyzing findings.
• Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders.
• Experience with applying client writing styles and all-source analytic tradecraft standards, including ICD 203 and ICD 206.
• Experience with briefing intelligence products to senior military and government officials.
• Knowledge of IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, techniques, and platforms.
• Fluent in at least one of the following languages: Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin, Korean, or Russian.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of all-source intelligence analysis experience.
  • Mid-level analysts must have 8 years’ experience plus bachelor’s degree.
  • Senior-level analysts must have 12 years’ experience plus master’s degree.
