apPIERances in Lititz, PA is looking for a business / salon assistant to join our team. We are located on 2 Sturgis Ln. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Business/Salon Assistants are under the direction and supervision of the Artistic Dir. in order to learn barber/ cosmetology skills, improve efficiency and learn our specific apPIERances procedures. Business /Slon Assistants will receive hands-on apprenticeship training from Artistic Dir .

Expect to work approx 3hr per day @ 3 day/week. Total potential hours per week: up to 10hr.

Responsibilities

Business Assistants will demonstrate their skills with:

• reliable start time,
• friendly customer service,
• dress/appearance code that matches our clientele expectations,
• good record keeping,
• apPIERances house-keeping,
• knowledgeable of hair & nail products and routinely recommend appropriate products to clients desired, after receiving appropriate training
• provide apPIERances related services (that don't require license) in accordance with all their current training
• develop good work relationships with the rest of the apPIERances team, so that in the future any apPIERances' client can reliably receive service from any licensed apPIERances professional.
• participate with social media marketing
• participate with window artwork for business marketing
• provide support tasks associated with each client receiving services at apPIERances from Artistic Dir .
• other duties as assigned by Artistic Dir .

Qualifications

• reliable transportation & phone
• knowledge of the hair & nail industry desired
• fluent English - verbal & written skills, additional languages desired, but not necessary
• no cosmetology/barber license required
• enrolled in barber / cosmetology school preferred, but not necessary
