Job Description

The Security Systems Project Manager will spearhead the seamless integration and execution of high-stakes security projects, ensuring each initiative seamlessly incorporates top-tier systems including access control, CCTV, and other critical security components.

This role is central to managing the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of security projects, guaranteeing each aligns with specified objectives, timelines, and financial constraints. As a pivotal liaison, the Project Manager will synergize with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and key partners to deliver exceptional security solutions, thereby boosting customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Define and outline security project goals, deliverables, scope, and required resources, with a keen focus on access control and CCTV integration.
  • Project Roadmap: Develop comprehensive project plans, considering schedules, budgets, tasks, interdependencies, and potential challenges, especially in the realm of security systems like access control and CCTV.
  • Team Coordination: Foster seamless collaboration with in-house teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring a timely sequence of procurement, delivery, and installation of security systems, including advanced access control and CCTV technologies
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain a close watch on project progression, highlighting key milestones, and proactively addressing any deviations to meet set project goals and quality benchmarks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage actively with clients and partners, providing project updates, responding to inquiries, and aligning expectations, particularly concerning access control and CCTV systems.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project financials, from cost estimation and budget allocation to monitoring expenditures.
  • On-Site Engagement: Regularly visit project sites to oversee activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and evaluate project progress.
  • Meeting Leadership: Conduct project meetings, ensuring transparent communication and meticulous documentation.
  • Design Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to integrate security essentials, including access control and CCTV, into project plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Assess project risks, identify potential obstacles, and devise strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, security management, engineering, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the security sector.
  • Deep understanding of security systems, practices, and standards, especially in access control, CCTV, and related technologies.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address project risks and dependencies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring project outputs meet quality standards and client requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
