As a member of NIKE’s Men’s Apparel Product Management team, you'll drive all stages of the product creation process, from uncovering sharp athlete and marketplace insights to presenting finalized apparel concepts to the NFL and NCAA league partners. You'll be responsible for creating product briefs, analyzing business metrics, researching consumer and marketplace trends, building the line plan, and collaborating with Design, Development & Merchandising teammates to create and maintain the authentic look of the American Football sideline.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We are looking for a Senior Product Line Manager for NFL and NCAA. This role is fast-paced and dynamic, you will need to be comfortable managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment while embracing the volatility. As a Senior Product Line Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team, while bringing excellent communication skills, strong strategic competence, and creative problem-solving skills to this high-profile role.

    WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

    You will be working daily with our design, development, sports marketing, brand, and licensee teams across multiple subject areas to build authentic, functional, athlete and coach forward American Football sideline apparel collections for the NFL and NCAA. You will be the leader of the team, keeping projects on task and communicating regularly to both internal and external NFL, NCAA, and licensee partners. You will collaborate with team members to develop line plans, implement future sideline apparel chassis creation strategies, and track overall progress and delivery in full and on time with one of our most high-profile apparel product lines at the company. You will work closely with your triad team each week to deliver on product creation calendar timelines, including product briefs, design reviews, merchandising plans, and licensee management for multiple projects.

    WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

    You will work closely with your Product Management team and cross-functional teammates in Merchandising, Design and Technical Design, Sports Marketing, Brand, Planning, and Operational teams to lead the product creation cycle. Externally you will work closely with NFL and NCAA team/league partners as well as our licensees to mine insights and sell-in the assortments your team is responsible creates.

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training
    • 5 years of experience in product-related role
    • Strong product creation and intuition for the licensed sport business
    • Creativity and passion for product, fashion, color and style
    • Solid understanding and passion for American Football specifically and sport in general
    • Equipment Manager knowledge and experience is a plus, but not required
    • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong analytical abilities
    • General understanding of apparel product construction and sourcing process
    • Able to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships
    • Attention to detail and deadlines
    • Visual Tool Creation (Powerpoint/Keynote/Miro), Excel Skills, Retail Math, Smartsheets
    • Ability to travel ~10-15% of the time
