Overview

CAES – San Jose is seeking an Intern to support RF Test Engineering. In this internship, you will work in a highly motivated team to help support Test Engineering projects. This will be a 3-month summer internship. This role is in San Jose, CA and there is no relocation available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the day to day activities of assigned functional area assisting in the completion of routine and non-routine tasks
• Assist in enhancing data analytics tool (Python)
• Expand test equipment software drivers (Python or LabVIEW)
• Assist in updating test station documentation, including RF Schematics, I/O diagrams
• Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve problems
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Junior or Senior year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)
  
  

Preferred

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
• Must show definite interest and desire to work on process problems and improvements in a test and manufacturing environment
• Some Python and/or LabVIEW experience a plus
• Self-motivated with the ability and desire to work hands-on in a team environment is necessary
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required to work with a wide variety of people
  
  

Salary Range: $30.00- $35.00 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well business results.
