Video Telecommunication Specialist II (U.S. Citizen)

NOTE :   This position is for our forthcoming long-term federal project.  Please review the requirements carefully.

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform video capturing and transfers video to a media streaming server.
• Perform troubleshooting of VTC and conference room equipment and executes repair or initiates trouble ticket to the appropriate office for support of components and connections external to site VTC system.
• Perform routine performance testing to ensure VTC and other conference room equipment, computer servers, and workstations operate at optimal performance and capacity.
• Resolve system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolations. Schedule Audio/Video (AV/) VTC sessions, maintain a call schedule, and coordinate reservations and scheduling of AV/VTC services with outside agencies for executive-level users.
• Performs setup, tests, adjustments, operations, and shutdowns of equipment in support of AV/VTC sessions.
• Provide client consulting and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment.
• Act as equipment custodian and perform inventory asset management and accountability functions.
• Provide life cycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure and AV equipment build out projects.

Requirements

• Must of a U.S. Citizen (no dual status), as mandated by the government client.
• Must be local to the San Antonio TX area (no convenience travel)
• Must have an active public trust investigation.
• Must have the following certification: IAT II: IAW Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Professional level certificate for supported technology.
• 4+ years’ of demonstrated experience in the above referenced responsibilities in a federal government project / environment.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.
